Media Coordinator/DVD Coordinator Credits

A "Media Coordinator" or "DVD Coordinator" wears a lot of hats, and they're often different hats for different releases. However, the main duty of the coordinator is to ensure the functionality of the disc. Does the disc work? Does it do what it's supposed to and look the way it's supposed to? Does the disc contain the correct content as specified by the licensors and the company? (In my case, ADV Films.) Generally the coordinator also proofreads disc packaging and/or subtitles, but this is not always true. Often other duties are involved such as making sure different people working on the project (subtitlers, translators, ADR people, me) are all on the same page, making sure our people are credited appropriately for the release, assigning trailers, being a point person and repository of knowledge about the project, or even assisting in the creation of extras. All of those things vary by title or even by disc, and it makes day-to-day life very exciting to be doing a different number and combination of them on different titles all at the very same time. Some days it's hard to know whether I'm coming or going. Once on a rerelease project that shared several coordinators, my share of the duties ended up being the translation of a song that hadn't been translated the first time!

Below is a list of the releases for which I was sole coordinator.
